We had already picked up a marriage license a few weeks earlier from Sonoma county so we were all set to go. She married us out doors a quick ceremony where we exchanged rings. Very intimate and sweet. We do plan on having a ceremony at one of the locations she offers at a later time. But for now this was perfect for us. She was super helpful and responsive from the start, and answered our questions about the different packages patiently. She also had advice specific to outdoor locations in San Francisco, all of which came in handy. When it became clear that we wouldn't be able to walk to the lakeside gazebo that we'd selected because of heavy rain the day of, she quickly suggested another gazebo that was equally perfect in every way. Ema has a very calm demeanor that immediately puts you at ease, and you won't feel awkward saying your vows in front of her even if you're somewhat introverted like us :) Ema is a great wedding officiant, and the icing on the (wedding?) cake is that she takes amazing pictures... highly recommend!

Christine Luxen-Lazar2019-05-28My husband and I used Ema Drouillard as both our officiant and photographer for our Sonoma elopement. It was the best choice we could have made. As an eloping couple from Chicago, Ema was extremely responsive in answering our questions around which package to choose, different venues, pricing, etc. We searched around and Ema had a ton of stellar reviews - and for good reason because she is going to get another stellar review from us. Ema is professional, cost-effective, and travels to your venue location if you choose your own. She arrived about an hour early to scope out the venue and find the best photography locations. Even though we were at a vineyard resort, she found fountains and gardens for us to also take pictures near. My favorite thing about Ema was that once we arrived at the ceremony location, she helped us relax as we were exuding nervous energy. The ceremony was beautiful, and she really made it so special and emotional for us. Ema was so thorough that she got my rose bouquet a day early so flowers would have time to gently open up for the day of the wedding. Very thoughtful! The pictures turned out beautiful, and she was gracious enough to post extra pics in our online gallery! We would strongly recommend Ema to anyone looking to get married in the San Francisco, Sonoma, Napa area. She really made this process completely stress free for us.
