A rich tapestry of beautiful wedding venues await you, as you cross over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco and enter Marin County. Marin offers wedding venues that look back at the San Francisco skyline as well as the Golden Gate Bridge.

Marin is best known for one of the most beautiful redwood forests, Muir Woods National Monument. The large trees in Muir Woods are the coastal redwoods, the tallest of all living things, and some scattered Douglas firs. The tallest coastal redwood at Muir Woods is about 258 feet, approximately the height of a six-foot person stacked head to toe 45 times.

Marin County’s natural sites include the Muir Woods redwood forest, the Marin Headlands, Stinson Beach, the Point Reyes National Seashore, and Mount Tamalpais. An endless array of vista’s and venues.

Small Towns Of Marin County

Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, and, Mill Valley are all known for their wonderful views of the San Francisco bay, the San Francisco skyline, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Surrounding the square are colorful, Mexican Colonial-style buildings housing smart boutiques, restaurants and even a classic 1930’s movie house, the Sebastiani Theatre.

Sonoma wine country is the northwestern county in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area region. As the largest producer of California’s Wine Country region, it also includes Napa, Mendocino, and Lake counties.
