The Marin Headlands is a hilly peninsula at the southernmost end of Marin County, California, located just north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge, which connects the two counties and peninsulas.
The entire area is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The Headlands are famous for their views of the Bay Area, especially of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Hawk Hill – Available January 1 – July 31st weekdays only due to traffic and parking issues on weekends. Due to winds, 11 am to 1 pm. 10 Guest Maximum. Hawk Hill has vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay & SF Skyline.
Trojan Point – Due to winds 11 am to 1 pm, weekdays only due to traffic and parking issues on the weekends. 10 Guest Maximum. Vistas of the bay and coast.
Rock Spring – Due to winds 11 am to 1 pm, weekdays only due to traffic and parking issues on the weekends. 10 Guest Maximum. Vistas of the coast.
Couples request to be married on Mt. Tam that are in love with nature and natural beauty. Breathtaking views! Due to fog and wind between 11 am and 1 pm is the best time to take advantage of the warmth of the day and less wind. These are casual venues without any setup.
