Small Wedding Frequently Asked Questions
Questions & Answers
Your Request: Are you able to personally issue a CONFIDENTIAL MARRIAGE LICENSE and perform the ceremony in San Francisco.
Answer: This is not available in San Francisco County. Both the bride and groom need to go together to show ID and sign in person. Then the ceremony has to happen in the same county you got the license in.
Your Request: I see that your site says you do same-sex unions do you do marriages for same-sex couples now that it is legal in California?
Answer: Yes they are.
Your Request: Wedding officiant services information, pricing, availability and consultation.
Answer: The website provides detailed officiant services and pricing. Once you know your date is available, you are welcome to book online or call anytime. Our first meeting is via a three-way call.
Your Request: Can we bring our own Officiant?
Answer: Yes, deduct $365 from the base package.
Your Request: I will be visiting SF from Mexico the weekend of October 3rd – 6th. I have an idea of how I want to propose to my GF, though need some help on having the setup and fine-tuning on details. What will be your rates?
Answer: Yes, your request is a perfect fit for our marriage proposal service. You can book a consultation for $85 an hour to brainstorm, go over idea’s, fill in details and make plans. If you would like assistance with the event itself we offer an array of services. It all starts with your budget and we work from there.
Your Request: We want to get married this weekend. Can it be arranged that quickly?
Answer: It is most helpful to have at least two weeks to plan and orchestrate your wedding day. That being said I have assisted many couples at the very last-minute. An officiant can not date a marriage license on a different day then the ceremony. So even at the last-minute you would want to make sure you have gotten your marriage license in advance.
Your Request: I would like to know if the ceremonies can be in Spanish? Since my parents don’t speak English.
Answer: If you are using the Traditional Christian ceremony it can be translated and printed out. If there is a relative that speaks both languages, it is very pretty to have the ceremony spoken in both. Like an echo. The relative speaks after the officiant one paragraph at a time.
Your Request: I’m checking to see if you have an opening for October 29, 2014, for the Simple wedding package at the Palace Garden for 1pm.
Answer: The calendar on the right shows which dates are open for booking. Your date is available at this moment.
Your Request: We would like you to pencil us in for a wedding date.
Answer: I can pencil you in for your wedding date. When you are ready to move forward you would want to book your date and time so no one else books it. When you are penciled in your date is not being held as someone can book it.
