This contract governs professional wedding ceremony services provided by My SF Wedding (Ema Drouillard, Wedding Officiant).

Payment Terms

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel for any reason, there are no refunds. This is standard in the wedding industry. If My SF Wedding cancels (other than client default), full refund within 60 days.

Services Included

Ceremony Officiation

• Professional wedding ceremony officiation by Ema Drouillard
• Religious or contemporary ceremony options
• Personal vows accommodation (optional)
• Marriage license signing on wedding day

What’s NOT Included

• Marriage license (you must obtain separately)
• Venue permits or fees
• Travel fees may apply

Your Responsibilities

Marriage License

• You must obtain your California marriage license before the wedding
• Bring your valid, signed marriage license to the ceremony
• CA Confidential license: valid in all of CA
• We cannot backdate or sign invalid licenses

Timeline & Arrival

• Be on time: Ceremony may need rescheduling if more than 30 minutes late
• Additional fees apply for delays: $100 per 30-minute wait period
• 24-hour notice required for any changes
• Arrive dressed – most small venues don’t provide a place for changing on-site

Guest Count

• Must not exceed contracted guest number
• All fees forfeited if you arrive with significantly more guests than contracted
• Venues have strict regulations – we cannot accommodate unauthorized increases

Important Policies

Changes & Communication

• All changes due 1 week before wedding date
• No last-minute changes during wedding week
• 24-hour advance notice required for any modifications
• Contact must be direct (phone call) – voicemail is not confirmation

Weather & Outdoor Ceremonies

• Outdoor weddings happen year-round in Bay Area
• You are responsible for backup location if weather is poor
• No refunds for weather-related issues
• We do not provide alternate venue arrangements

Force Majeure

• Neither party liable for impossibility due to: Acts of God, government regulations, natural disasters, emergencies, wildfires, unhealthy air quality, or other circumstances beyond our control
• Road/weather emergencies: If officiant cannot reach venue, we will ordain someone on-site via phone with coaching

Limitations of Liability

My SF Wedding is not responsible for:

• Venue availability or alternate sites
• Noise disturbances or venue issues
• Health and safety of attendees
• Loss of personal property
• Venue permits or scheduling (unless specifically contracted)

Package venues are arranged by private agreement with no guarantees. If venue is occupied, we wait or relocate. Only venues with paid permits can be scheduled privately.

Agreement Terms

Modifications

• This contract can only be modified in writing
• Agreement confirmed by payment and booking form submission
• All prior agreements superseded by this contract

Governing Law

• Contract governed by California state law
• Disputes resolved in Marin County, California
• Each party pays own attorney fees
